Eric Kripke gives his synopsis of what to expect in Supernatural episode 4.02 Are You There, God? It’s Me, Dean Winchester.

This will be very curious having the boys running into Bible territory. Could this be another ruse? What’s going on? How are they going to reconcile the differences between Supernatural mythology and bible explanations –at least the ones that most people agree are pretty clear?

What do you think about the new direction for Dean? He has an awful lot to deal with.

Of course, I enjoyed this episode. Marlee gave me a hard time for my not telling her how bad Dean’s death was. I didn’t think I downplayed it too much. I really thought it was brief, and much easier for the audience than I had expected. Dean’s return from Hell, though, was so stunningly fast. I cannot complain about that!

Let’s recap…

Dean is in the Hell that we saw him in at the end of last season. Very quickly, though, he awakes, in his coffin. He doesn’t seem as fazed as I would expect. He breaks his way out of the coffin, and digs his way out of the ground. [Ahem, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 6.]

Traci Dinwiddie gave an interview at Eclipse Magazine. She tells about being the “total rocker chick” no matter how she’s interacting with the Winchester boys on Supernatural.

One of my favorite revelations: Dinwiddie has played the psychic before:

“You might or might not find this funny but, as a teenager, I used to scare the crap out of my cheerleading squad during camp and late night storytelling as I would pretend to channel evil spirits. I even got sent home from sleep-overs, TWICE, for freaking out the birthday girls with my wild stories and portrayals of demons. At last, I have found my home in Supernatural.”

With Supernatural Season 4 only days away, you can still catch new video spoilers, if you’re so inclined. I get plenty of worried emails and myspace messages. If your soul is still heavy because of Dean Winchester’s long stay in his spiderwebby Hell, and love spoilers, you’ll want to see these. The info overlaps many of the previous Lazarus Rising spoilers, but they’re still nice to see.

If you love being surprised, you won’t want to proceed.
