Okay. Thanks to missyjack, who commented on my post yesterday (Supernatural Making the Cut Winner), I have a huge correction to make. Promax actually announced the Making the Cut winners back in June. The winner was a video for Gossip Girl, submitted by Joe Kutilek of Iowa State University. A few Supernatural promos made it to the finals, though.

So, along with my huge mea culpa, as penance, I offer here a couple of the finalists, who submitted Supernatural videos.

Last week, The CW released stills for the Supernatural Season 4 premiere episode Lazarus Rising. This is going to be a very emotional episode, as probably the first half of the season will be.

That’s right! Supernatural Trickster Richard Speight, Jr has recently signed on to Asylum 3

Dates and venue are yet to be set in stone. Currently, they are planning Asylum 3 at the Hilton Hotel in Birmingham, UK, on 8-10th May 2009. Please, stay tuned here, and to the Asylum website for updates.

Thus far, Rogue Events has scheduled the following Supernatural cast:

• Gabriel Tigerman (Andrew Gallagher)
• Samantha Smith (Mary Winchester)
• Fredric Lehne (The Yellow-Eyed Demon)
• Richard Speight Jr. (The Trickster)

No word, yet, on Fredric Lehne and Richard Speight, Jr. singing Van Morrison, at next year’s event, but we’ll keep you posted.

This Thursday, 21 August, Sam and Dean go to Ohio, where people keep receiving phone calls from deceased loved ones. When John Winchester seems to call Dean –from beyond the grave- Dean wants to believe it’s really him. Of course, things heat up with all the heart-rending drama.
